One-Hit Wonders: The '80s - 1985-1989

Yuk!

For our purposes, a one-hit wonder is defined as an artist that had one, and only one, Top 40 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. I did not include one-off superstar duet pairings (Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder) or duet pairings with one superstar and one person who never hit the charts again (Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin, Michael Jackson and Siedah Garrett). I have also not included solo one-hits by performers who have been part of successful groups (Ric Ocasek, Jane Wiedlin). I also tried not to include intentional novelty hits, with a few exceptions.

1. "Axel F" (1985)
2. "In My House" (1985)
3. "Love Theme From St. Elmo's Fire" (1985):
4. "Tarzan Boy (1986)
5. "Let's Go All The Way" (1986)
6. "I Wanna Be A Cowboy" (1986)
7. "Diggin' Your Scene" (1986)
8. "Welcome To The Boomtown" (1986)
9. "Right On Track" (1987)
10. "Don't Disturb This Groove" (1987)
11. "Heart and Soul" (1987)
12. "Pump Up The Volume" (1988)
13. 'Two Occasions" (1988)
14. "What I Am" (1989)
15. "Iko Iko" (1989)
16. "Angel Eyes" (1989)
17. "Talk It Over" (1989)

Bonus: "Fascinated" (1987). According to my sources, who sang lead on this song?:

Super Duper Extra Bonus: "Touch of Grey" (1987)

Good Luck!!!
