One-Hit Wonders: The '70s - 1975-1979

It only makes sense to follow last week with some one-hit wonders from the second half of the 1970s. This quiz was a joy to put together, as some of my favorite songs of all time are listed here. I give you the song, you provide the artist.

For our purposes, a one-hit wonder is defined as an artist that had one, and only one, Top 40 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. I did not include one-off superstar duet pairings (Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond, Peter Brown and Betty Wright ) or duet pairings with one superstar and one person who never hit the charts again (Suzi Quatro and Chris Norman). I have also not included solo one-hits by performers who have been part of successful groups (Ace Frehley, Ian Matthews, John Sebastian). I also tried not to include intentional novelty hits, with a few exceptions.

1. "Chevy Van" (1975)
2. "Magic" (1975)
3. "Rockin' Chair (1975)
4. "Movin'" (1976)
5. "The Boys Are Back In Town" (1976)
6. "Turn The Beat Around" (1976)
7. "Do You Wanna Make Love" (1977)
8. "Smoke From A Distant Fire" (1977)
9. "Ariel" (1977)
10. "Emotion" (1978)
11. "Love Is In The Air" (1978)
12. "Werewolves of London" (1978)
13. "My Angel Baby" (1978)
14. "What You Won't Do For Love" (1979)
15. "Music Box Dancer" (1979)
16. "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" (1979)
17. "Born To Be Alive" (1979)

Bonus: "Dance Across The Floor" (1978). Who played keyboards on this song?

Super Bonus: "Wham Bam" (1976). Who played keyboards on this song?

Good Luck!!!
